HELLO.

My name is Connie. 28, New York City transplant, poet, gamer, runner. I like long walks and small beauties and the worlds we make believe. Once upon a time, for many years, this LiveJournal was my online home, but for now it's collecting dust on a cedar shelf.

In people, I look for authenticity and multidimensionality and a ferocity for the people and things they love. I believe that our identities are defined not merely by who we are, but also by who we are capable of becoming. I believe that, to the best of our abilities, we must take care of each other and that we are culpable for our inactions. I believe that we are limited only by our ability to imagine. I believe that individuals are capable of changing the world.

This is my promise to you (anyone, anytime): If you want to talk, I will listen.

THIS JOURNAL IS FRIENDS-ONLY.

I rarely post public entries, but anyone is welcome to add me and say hi. I believe in drama-free friendings and defriendings and would prefer for you to remove me from your friends list rather than keep me out of a sense of obligation, so please don't hesitate to remove me at any time for any reason, and don't feel like you owe me any explanations. Likewise, I may remove you from my friends list without warning or notification.

If I do add you to my friends list, please respect that everything I write here is confidential. Once you have joined my friends list, please check out my "lj administrative" tag, where you can, among other things, ask to be added to some of my opt-in filters (locked) or all of them (locked) and see which filters you are in (locked).
